A woman from Illinois has been jailed for leaving her three kids - all under the age of 5 - at home alone while she went to the taping of The Jerry Springer Show. That she'd gone only became apparent after the three kids went over to a neighbour's house when they got hungry after their mother had been gone for five hours. Over four hours later, she returned home to be arrested.
She said "I didn't think I'd be gone that long."
Okay then. That makes it all okay.
Is anybody surprised that it was Jerry Springer?
